DECEMBER 2024 - HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU. Whether you’ve been part of my world for years or just getting to know me, your support has made this a wonderful year.

It's been full of creative projects, events, lessons learned, and a renewed commitment to helping brands thrive through great packaging. Looking ahead to 2025, I can’t wait to continue sharing ideas and solutions that inspire your journey.

Let’s finish this year strong and step into the new one ready to make an even bigger impact.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

Doc Brown Bourbon Cream Multi-Pack
I finally got my hands on the Bourbon Cream Multi-Pack from Doc Brown Farm and Distillers. We finished this project in late August and it’s finally come all the way through its distribution journey. This was a round-the-world kind of project! The client is based in the state of Georgia, the label printer who referred me is based in Tennessee, her label production is in Washington state, I'm based in San Diego, the packaging was developed/produced in Utah and the graphic designer is based in the UK!

Over the years, I have often ordered my clients' products so that I can review and critique what worked and what might need some fine tuning.

We'll have a discussion together to see what's working from their point of view too.

TOOLS I LOVE: Organizing Creativity

This year, I’ve been loving Milanote for collaborative creative projects. It’s a visual tool that keeps everything organized and streamlined. The free plan gives you access to all the features, and it’s perfect for brainstorming packaging concepts or client reviews. When we work together on a creative project, I'll set you up with our own board on Milanote.

PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT: Tips for Getting Started

If you’re thinking about launching a packaging project in the new year, here are three quick tips to make the process smoother:

  1. Start with Your End Goal: Know your brand’s story and what you want your packaging to communicate.
  2. Get Clear on Materials and Functionality: Decide on the right materials and structure that will protect your product and resonate with your customers.
  3. Prep Your Graphics: Even rough sketches help your packaging pro visualize your vision. The more details you bring, the better!

Let’s make 2025 the year of standout packaging!

LOOKING AHEAD

Thank you for being part of my packaging world. Your interest and support for packaging inspires everything I do. I can’t wait to see what we create together in 2025—stay tuned for more resources, tools, and ideas to help your brand stand out.

Here’s to another amazing year ahead!

Cheers,
