Terms & Conditions – Packaging Development & Production Service
1. Scope of Services
Packaging Chic LLC (“Consultant”) will provide Packaging Development & Production Management services as described in the agreed proposal or project outline. Services include vendor selection, comparison, and coordination; confirmation of production specifications; timeline and proof management; and recommendations to support clear decision-making. This service does not include packaging design or production artwork creation unless explicitly stated in writing.
2. Deliverables
Consultant will deliver the agreed scope of services, which may include:

Vendor selection, comparison, and coordination for packaging components

Confirmed production specifications for supplier alignment

Recommendations presented with clear rationale to simplify decisions

File readiness review for vendor requirements (if applicable)

Timeline and proof management from kickoff to delivery

Weekly check-ins plus prompt updates when action is needed
3. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:

Provide all necessary approved artwork files, brand assets, and specifications in a timely manner

Respond promptly to requests for feedback, approvals, or additional information

Ensure decision-makers are available to meet project timelines
4. Timeline
Project timelines will be agreed upon at kickoff and are dependent on prompt communication and approvals from the Client. Delays in feedback or file delivery may result in adjusted delivery dates and may affect overall project cost if extended significantly.
5. Fees & Payment
Fees are based on the scope discussed during the Discovery Call and confirmed in the project proposal.

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due upon acceptance of the proposal to reserve project start dates. The remaining balance and payment schedule are outlined in the project proposal and will vary depending on scope.

Packaging component and printing costs are not included in Consultant’s fees and will be billed separately by vendors.
6. Revisions & Additional Work
The service includes minor adjustments within the agreed scope. Significant changes, additional SKUs, new packaging formats, or major artwork changes requested after project commencement will be billed at $150/hour or as otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Third-Party Vendors
Consultant will recommend and coordinate with third-party vendors (printers, component suppliers, etc.) using professional judgment, experience, and an established network of industry partners. While final responsibility for vendor performance rests with the vendor, Consultant will act as the Client’s advocate to oversee communication, monitor progress, and work to resolve issues within the scope of services. Vendor contracts and payment remain directly between the Client and the vendor.
8. Case Studies & Portfolio Use
Consultant may request Client’s approval to reference the project in case studies, presentations, and marketing materials, including select images or references of final packaging. Any approved use will respect confidentiality and will not disclose sensitive business information, such as unreleased product details, proprietary formulations, or non-public launch dates.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the project.
10. Compliance & Regulatory
Consultant’s services do not include regulatory compliance, ingredient listings, or legal packaging requirements. Such work may be contracted separately as an add-on service or handled through referral to a qualified compliance specialist.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. In the event of termination, the Client will be invoiced for all services rendered and expenses incurred up to the date of termination. Deposits are non-refundable. Any unused portion of fees beyond the deposit can be prorated and refunded at Consultant’s discretion.
12. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
